Dear Friends and Visitors,
As many of you may already know, I have moved to Europe, and currently I am living again in Krakow, Poland, my hometown. Many things have changed, but one is still the same: I keep playing clarinet and I am still proud to be a member of the beautiful Trio sTREga. I will update my bio and this website soon, but as for now there are just two things I would like to announce:
First, I have opened in Krakow a Centre of Music and Music Therapy Gaia. Right now we are focusing mainly on music classes for babies (0-3 years old) and pregnant moms and it's just wonderful watching those little kids glow while listening to our music. I love my job! If you happen to be in Krakow and you have a baby (or you know of anyone with a child here), please come and check our offer. You can see us on the website: www.centrumgaia.pl. It should have the English version ready any moment soon, so it will be accessible and understandable for all my friends around the world.
Aside from this, I keep playing and writing on music, which are the two things that bring me lots of satisfaction and joy. I am proud to say, that I just finished working on the great magazine "Scala - Klarnet", devoted entirely to clarinet and released by the PWM Edition in Kraków. I wrote two articles there and I took care of the content, as well as the editing. The effect is great and if you are somehwat familiar with Polish you can see how it looks like here:
As for my playing, in the summer I have spent the wonderful two weeks at the Chamber Music Festival Incontri di Canna in Calabria, and afterwards I had a sTREga recital in Rome. I played lots of beautiful music again, I met many of my dear friends, and I am still very happy to be enjoying Europe. in Rome, we played with Erika Crinó at the Teatro di Marcello in Rome, as a part of Concerti del Tempietto concert series. It was so much fun! Next year I hope to be there again, Rome is definitely a wonderful place for a concert. Especially when you're a Strega!
